Iowa's Water & Land Legacy Coalition

Iowa's Water & Land Legacy is a coalition of over 100 organizations in Iowa who shared interest in passing Iowa's Water & Land Legacy Amendment which passed in November of 2010 with 63% of the vote.  Executive Committee leadership of the campaign includes representation from The Nature Conservancy, Pheasants Forever, Conservation Districts of Iowa, and the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. 

The coalition formed after connections were made during the "Sustainable Funding Advisory Committee" process that started in 2006.

Our "Honorary Campaign Committee" consists of individuals with deep roots in Iowa and a commitment to leadership - in government, the business world, or in the conservation community.  These are leaders who truly believe that Iowa's Water & Land Legacy amendment is a key to leaving a legacy to future generations of Iowan's who believe in Our Water, Our Land, and Our Outdoors.  We thank them for their generous commitment and support.
